TEMPORARY IN-CENTRE CLOSURE
As a dynamic hub of community in Vaughan, we pride ourselves on our
ability to enrich your lives through high quality programs and
experiences. With the current government restrictions, we truly feel we
are unable to fulfill our membership commitment that you have come to
expect. Add to that the current increase in the number of COVID-19 cases
and the situation becomes untenable with respect to our overall mission.
We have made the heartbreaking and difficult decision to
temporarily close our in-centre fitness, aquatics, and
programming (including both Bar/Bat Mitzvah & Inclusion
Services) at The Schwartz/Reisman Centre, effective this Saturday,
December 12.
Please continue to use the facilities this week. All fitness reservations will
be honoured until Friday, December 11.
Membership billing will continue to remain on hold. No billing will occur
for any December usage. If you have further membership questions,
please contact us at membership@srcentre.ca and we will be happy to
assist you.
We look forward re-opening in the New Year, safely and responsibly, as
COVID-19 cases decrease and gathering limitations improve. We are in
communication with our local government. Should restrictions change, we
will be quick to reassess and be in touch on a re-open date. We are eager
to be back together. Learn more on how we are continually updating
our industry-leading health precautions to keep our community safe.
Although, we are closing our in-centre fitness, aquatics, and
programming, we encourage you to connect and gather online
at www.virtualjcc.com. Additionally, some programs will be moved to
distance learning. Our staff will be in touch with more information soon.
To our loyal community members, we are tremendously grateful for your
support and trust over these challenging months. We appreciate and
thank you for keeping our community strong.
From every one of us at the Schwartz/Reisman Centre, we wish everyone
a safe and healthy Chanukah and holiday season.
