New - Suzuki Early Childhood Music Class
Suzuki Early Childhood Music Class
No prior musical experience necessary. Parent/Guardian and child (age 0-4) will participate in a weekly interactive music class. Parents will enjoy watching their babies develop rhythmic and melodic awareness, memory and social skills. Teachers work with parents to build a repertoire of lullabies, musical coordination songs and nursery rhymes. Parents are encouraged to use the Curriculum CD at home and to repeat the songs and rhymes daily. With a strong emphasis on positive parent and child interaction and peer-to-peer learning, our classes are designed as pre-instrumental education that dovetails beautifully into your child learning an instrument.
Children will learn skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their life such as confidence, self-control, independence, listening, mental focus, memory, increased vocabulary, sensitivity and numeracy development – all while having a blast! Classes are taught by registered Suzuki Early Childhood Education instructors (SECE).
Age levels: Suzuki ECE is for children ages 0 to 4, and accompanying parent/guardian.
We use a curriculum developed by The Suzuki Association of the Americas, which has been researched, tested and refined by renowned early childhood educators for over 30 years.
DATE: Thursdays, April 23 - June 18, 2020 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
FEE: Member Fee: $180 / Regular Fee: $200.00
